National Question in Pakistan

National Question
The historical role of the powerless ruling class of the oppressed nationalities is to use the national question to gain their share. Whenever a movement for basic human needs begins to flourish, it begins to raise the national question by masquerading as a friend.
In the movement to get free electricity and subsidized food in Asia, an attempt was made to divert attention away from the real demands of the identity debate by raising issues like constitutional amendment. As problems were arising for the local rulers, all the parties started opposing the draft. Even the so-called progressives will fall victim to this propaganda, suffering from ideological bankruptcy. Most of the nationalists were of the position that when the people of the traditional parties are supporting our position, why should we have a controversial discussion here? For this reason, many attempts were made to restrict the expression of opinion. What is the level of awareness of the people? The people are constantly interfering in the movement around which demand. Unable to understand all these questions, these creatures got busy fighting the battle for the rights of the ruling classes around the slogan "Riyast ho gi to Politika ho gi". Fueled by profiteering, fear, and opportunism, these so-called revolutionaries never tire of flattering and trying to cover up their mistakes by accusing the truth-tellers of conspiracy to break the alliance. Not even understanding that this movement can turn into a spark of freedom and revolution, we should try to organize more movements instead of stopping them or shying away from telling the truth. The people who were expressing their anger were not because of the traditional parties (as they constantly tried to give an impression) but the people who were oppressed by the fringes of this system. Under normal circumstances, the psychology of the ruling classes affects the consciousness of the people, due to which people try to find solutions to their problems in different parties through voting, but in movements, they do not consider a ruler as a savior. Rather, they are looking for alternatives. At such a time we have to try to provide an alternative to the people through a complete ideological position. This is the only way you try to organize the masses against the prevailing system. It is not necessary that a movement formed around immediate demands will immediately create a revolution and it is also wrong to say that this movement cannot invite a big revolutionary storm. In such a situation, the work of the revolutionaries is only to try to continue the path of continuous struggle by enlightening the wider public with the facts on an aggressive basis.
Haste plays an important role in giving birth to ideas like gains and hence right-wing and fascist tendencies begin to find an easy way to intervene in such movements. This is the reason why it was imperative for the government to go through the process of negotiations to temporarily cool down the movement. The decision of the People's Right Forum to stage a dharna seems to be an attempt to destroy the movement. Expecting condemnation politics from an alliance whose sole purpose is to prevent conflict between the state and the citizenry is a general expression of ideological bankruptcy. If the agreement reached between the government committee and the leadership of the People's Rights Forum is carefully studied, the superiority of the government committee can be seen clearly.
Finally, when the government was forced to give way to the Awami Tehreek, this forum announced to accept the offer of negotiations. This is a clear expression of expediency. At first, Liaquat refused to hold any negotiations without Hayat's presence, but suddenly giving up his own obstinacy seems to be the first step towards expediency. This is the reason that all the demands if you read each point carefully, you can see the superiority of the government committee. The Fifteenth Amendment can be presented in the Assembly by changing the existing proposals, if violence occurred at one place in the whole movement, then that demand was not accepted in the negotiations and the investigation committee was deceived. Similarly, committees have been formed regarding the demand for electricity and subsidy on flour.
This suggests that the leadership of this alliance was more afraid of the public movement than the government in these negotiations. As the movement was now spreading rapidly throughout Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir. Dharnas were started at different places. The slogan "Free electricity is our right" started echoing everywhere. In the Peha Jam strike, the transporters refused to drive the vehicles by themselves. On the call of shutter down, even those small towns where there was no association were completely closed. On the one hand, this popular organized power forced the government to its knees, and it also caused fear for the leadership of the Alliance. An expression of fear on both sides is the collapsing agreement, in which both the government and the alliance are clearly trying to save face.
But it is not that the people are blind and are not learning from their bitter experiences. An attempt has been made to block the movement through these negotiations, but it is not so easy to push back the movement. This movement built around fundamental issues has had a profound impact on society.
On the one hand, it had a lot of impact on the consciousness of the common people, on the other hand, the deed has also become a source of morale for political activists. Maybe in a timed movement, A pause may come, but the movement continues and will continue. Because this negotiation is such a lollipop that it is insufficient to fool the public for very long. It is our duty to play a key role in organizing this fight. Where there is a need to be organized in the field of struggle against the rulers, we also need to criticize the opportunists. This fight is a fight between the oppressor and the oppressed which is irreconcilable. Ups and downs are inevitable in movements. Movements never move in a straight line. We need to strategize for the future by critically evaluating movements in depth. The time is not far when all the tactics of the rulers will be overcome by a revolutionary storm. Which will bring death to those who try to maintain the tyrannical system of capital.
